Ventilation is the process of changing or replacing air in any space in order to control the air quality. Ventilation can help to control temperature, remove moisture (responsible for mould and mildew), odours, smoke, heat, dust and airborne bacteria. Ventilation includes both the exchange of air to the outside as well as circulation of air within the building.
Under government legislation, it is now important for homes and properties to have efficient mechanical ventilation systems that will reduce health issues caused by poor air quality
Heat Recovery
Heat recovery ventilation, also known as mechanical ventilation heat recovery, is an energy recovery ventilation system using equipment known as a heat recovery ventilator, heat exchanger, air exchanger, or air-to-air heat exchanger which employs a cross flow or counter-flow heat exchanger between the inbound and outbound air flow. Heat Recovery Ventilation provides fresh air and improved climate control, while also saving energy by reducing heating requirements for many applications.
Air extraction systems
Air extraction is a ventilation system that takes dusts, mists, gases, vapour or fumes out of the air so that they can’t be breathed in. Industrial systems are designed to move a specific amount of air at a specific speed.
Air Conditioning
In a commercial environment, keeping your workspace cool in the summer is just as important as staying warm in the winter. Air Conditioning provides cooling and humidity control for all or part of a building. Air conditioned buildings often have sealed windows, because open windows would work against the system intended to maintain constant indoor air conditions. Outside, fresh air is generally drawn into the system by a vent into the indoor heat exchanger section, creating positive air pressure.
